Talk Rules

Time allotted for contributed talks at the main conference tracks is 17 minutes presentation + 3 minutes discussion. Format of the slides: PDF or PPT. All speakers must go to their session room 15 minutes before their session starts (13:45), and contact the session chair to upload their slides to the computer at the lecture room. Alternatively you can hook up your computer to the beamer directly. In this case please make sure you have an adapter to a standard VGA beamer cable. Adapters for Macs might not be available in all rooms. Please check that your slides are working and displayed correctly prior to the session. To find out time and room of your session please consult the conference program.

Poster Rules

Please find the day and location of your poster on page 8 of the conference handbook. The three letters indicate the day your poster is presented (MON, TUE, or FRI). The number corresponds to the marked location where your poster is to be placed along the walls and panels in the main conference building. For example, if your poster is 24-TUE, find spot 24 and place your poster there on Tuesday before the first coffee break. Posters are presented during the two coffee breaks and during the lunch break of your day. Tape and pins are provided at the registration desk. Remove your poster and all leftover materials at the end of your day. Title and content of the poster have to correspond to title and abstract given in the submission.
Poster format: up to A0 (84 x 118 cm), in vertical orientation.

The winners of the Best Poster Award will be decided in a self-organized manner.
